About Me

Hi, I’m Trudie. For over fifteen years, I’ve explored different avenues of the media industry through roles in trade and healthcare publishing and in B2B and B2C/CPG advertising. I have experience in design, production, project management, proofreading, copyright administration, and more. As technology continues to transform the field, I too delve into new formats and new adventures.

For my work, I’ve traveled from Orange County to Long Island, but my roots are in “Brew City,” Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There I earned my B.A. in English and Advertising from Marquette University before heading to Chicago for an M.A. in Writing and Publishing at DePaul. You can see I love to learn. I’m always dabbling in new things: sailing, kayaking, Latin, photography, calligraphy, and more home repair projects than I have time for. In those rare moments when I’m sitting still, I’m probably next to my two awesome kitties Bailey and Jameson.
